Jade Flashwing Figure
I have got to say the Jade Flashwing figure does look pretty awesome. Based on the original Flashwing figure, this Gem Dragon certainly looks great in green! The original Flashwing has wings made of violet crystals, and obviously Jade Flashwings are, well jade! The other difference is that Flashwing has turquoise scales, where as Jade Flashwing has golden scales on her wings. I will certainly be keeping my eye out for her, when I visit Target next time. What are Skylanders Variants?
When Activision first designed Skylanders variants, they created variant versions of a handful of Skylanders figure. The variants are basically the same figures, but painted a different color, and manufactured in much smaller quantities. Here are the variant figures we know of so far, and when they were released.
Jade Flashwing - Variant of the Earth Skylander Flashwing. Now on release as a Target exclusive.
Scarlet Ninjini- Variant of Magic Giant Ninjini. Release date unknown.
Polar Whirlwind- Variant of Air Skylander Whirlwind. Release date unknown.
Molten Hot Dog - Variant of Fire Skylander Hot Dog. Sold as a Walmart exclusive.
Gnarly Tree Rex - Variant of Life Giant Tree Rex. Packaged exclusively as part of the Blue Wii Bundle Pack and the Super Slim PlayStation 3 pack.
Punch Pop Fizz - A red version of the Magic Skylander Pop Fizz. Packaged exclusively with the 3DS Starter pack.
